Today RON L HUBBARD looks at the difference between WORK and PLAY in his The Problems of Work.
He says: "Somebody invented the difference between 'work' and 'play'. Play was seen to be something that was interesting. And work was seen to be something that was arduous and necessary and therefore not interesting. But when we have our vacations and go and 'play' we are usually very glad to get back to the 'daily grind.' Play is almost purposeless. Work has PURPOSE (my emphasis)."
"Let us redefine work and play. Play should be called 'work without a purpose.'"
