They now have salad bars and plant based foods like kale, quinoa, and almond butter. They even offer juicers for the players!
Yes ones like former Falcon Pro Bowler Tony Gonzalez do supplement with some fish and chicken but he has stopped eating red meat and is VEGAN.
Here is what one of the NFL’s own nutritionist Mitzi Dulan says, who helped Gonzalez go VEGAN: “Taking that fat (from red meat) that density, it’s a lot more work. It makes your blood acidic, and your body has to work to get your body in pH balance again.”
